For all artwork sales (commissions and/or originals), the Artist retains sole intellectual property rights to the use of the artworks in any capacity, including their digital and commercial usage.

When sharing illustration work on social media or any digital platforms, please attribute the work to the Artist clearly (for example, tag @_bluebike on Instagram, or credit www.thebluebike.art). This helps protect the Artist’s work online.

Pricing and Payment

Estimated prices are available in my Custom Work page, but I can give a more accurate estimate if you contact me to discuss what you have in mind.

Payment is accepted via Paypal or Venmo.

I’ll create a quote when we discuss the work you’re interested in. Once everything sounds good, I will send an invoice and a deposit of 50% is required before the initial sketch is begun.

More realistic custom work will require high-resolution reference photos to ensure accuracy (such as house or pet photos for portraits, etc.). Prices include one revision. Additional revisions can be made for an additional charge.

Full payment is required before the delivery of finalized artwork.

All sales are final. Since the art is created custom and made to order, refunds are not offered. Your satisfaction is my highest concern throughout the custom process, and I will always try my best to guarantee that you are pleased with the artwork.

Artwork is delivered via email attachment for digital files.

The original paper artwork is shipped via via Japan Post’s EMS parcel service (includes tracking). Please allow 10-14 days for the painting to arrive. In rare cases, customs can delay international packages by up to 6 weeks. This doesn't happen often, but it can happen.

Currently the international shipping costs start at about $30 in US Dollars, but cost will be adjusted based on your location and the size of packaging.
