Appalachian Alphabet Watercolor to celebrate the Appalachian Mountain Region

Appalachian Alphabet

Growing up in the mountains of western North Carolina, I often draw inspiration from the flora and fauna found in Appalachia. This watercolor alphabet is a tribute to the Appalachian Mountain region that I love.

Finer in Carolina

The native flowers in North Carolina are featured in this watercolor painting, shown across the state as they would be found in wildlife.

Miles to Go

This wooded scene was inspired by Robert Frost’s famous poem, and the lush trails found in Pisgah National Forest, where I often enjoyed exploring by bike.

Tuxedo Overlook

This gazebo on a wooded overlook is located at Falling Creek Camp, where I grew up in Tuxedo, NC.
