Room Illustrations

Watercolor illustrations of interior rooms, often based on the "Room Portrait Club" image prompts. Whimsical additions are often added, such as cute rat friends hanging out in the rooms.

House Portraits

Realistic portraits of houses painted in watercolor to save the memories of a first house, or favorite home.

Storefront Illustration

This was a custom portrait of a local shop for their tenth anniversary, with food and jam illustrations surrounding the storefront, based on the delicious things the shop owner makes. A stork is the shop’s mascot, so this was added by request along with three baby storks to represent the owner’s young sons.

The pink room was the first room portrait painted. It was based on the photo from Julia Brendel, on Week 88 of “Room Portrait Club,” guest hosted by Georgia Fienness. These little rats would never spill any cake on this luxurious couch, they’re called fancy rats for a reason!

The second room painted was the kitchen, based on the photo from Skye Mcalpine for Week 94, with SJ Axelby as the host.
